As a Director at Langebæk, you will play a central role in bridging senior project leadership with broader commercial, organisational and strategic responsibility. You will lead complex logistics and supply chain management engagements, helping leading Scandinavian companies develop efficient, future-ready and balanced logistics setups across strategy, projects and operations. The role combines leadership of complex projects and larger programmes at key clients with senior stakeholder engagement, commercial development, people leadership and active contribution to Langebæk’s continued development. You will be expected to drive impact through teams and clients, engage confidently with senior executives, and be recognised for a distinct industry or functional expertise.

Our work is rooted in Balanced Logistics: balancing cost optimisation, growth enablement, service creation, sustainability and flexibility. As a Director, you will be expected to understand this balance, translate complex challenges into simple and executable plans, and ensure that our recommendations are both analytically robust and practical to implement for our clients.

What you will do

·       Lead several complex logistics and SCM engagements simultaneously, ensuring clear problem solving, high-quality analysis and pragmatic recommendations that create measurable client impact.

·       Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management at key clients, acting as a trusted advisor and credible sparring partner in complex organisational and project situations.

·       Communicate confidently in all settings, adapting your style to different audiences and handling challenging or sceptical stakeholders with clarity and professionalism.

·       Deploy resources effectively across teams, projects and business areas, maintaining focus, addressing roadblocks and proactively managing risks under demanding circumstances.

·       Take responsibility for overall quality across client deliveries, ensuring that teams work analytically, structure complex data and translate insights into solutions that are both commercially relevant and operationally executable.

·       Coach and develop project managers and consulting staff through high-quality feedback, active support and a strong balance between high expectations and development-oriented leadership.

·       Contribute to commercial development by identifying and driving new opportunities, supporting key account teams, and participating actively in continuation and new sales.

·       Support pricing, negotiation, budgeting and invoicing processes with a solid understanding of project economics and commercial principles.

·       Contribute professional expertise within logistics, supply chain management, automation, solution design, supplier selection and implementation support where relevant to the client context.

·       Actively build Langebæk by contributing to internal knowledge development, organisational initiatives, recruitment, onboarding, training and the continued strengthening of our shared culture and values.

Who you are

·       You have excellent problem-solving skills and are comfortable identifying and structuring complex client issues.

·       You bring extensive hands-on experience from logistics, supply chain management, management consulting or a similar advisory environment, with a proven ability to lead complex projects or programmes.

·       You are passionate about logistics, supply chain management and project management, and you have the professional depth to turn dialogue, data and workshops into clear client needs, robust analyses and strong solution designs.

·       You are able to drive impact through others, creating clarity, momentum and ownership across teams and client organisations.

·       You have strong senior stakeholder management skills and can build trust-based relationships with senior management at key clients.

·       You communicate with confidence and presence, both in writing and verbally, and can adjust your message to different audiences and levels of detail.

·       You are recognised for drive, energy and professionalism, and you motivate others through a positive, opportunity-oriented mindset.

·       You understand and appreciate different working styles, treat people fairly and individually, and act as a strong ambassador for Langebæk’s values.

·       You have a commercial mindset and are motivated by identifying, shaping and developing opportunities with existing and potential clients.

·       You have an established network within the logistics and supply chain industry and are able to use your relationships and market understanding to identify opportunities, strengthen client dialogue and support continued growth.

·       You take ownership of your own knowledge development and are motivated to build a relevant industry or functional knowledge spike that strengthens Langebæk’s market position.

·       You are eager to contribute beyond client projects and take an active role in building the organisation, developing people and strengthening one Langebæk.

What we offer

At Langebæk, you will join one of the Nordics’ most experienced logistics and supply chain consulting environments, where client impact, high-quality work, personal development and strong relationships go hand in hand. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference for leading Scandinavian companies, lead important client engagements, develop senior client relationships, shape commercial opportunities, and play an active role in developing our people, knowledge base and organisation.
